"In 2012, while employed full-time at our local hospital, I sought additional income opportunities. I have always had a passion for cleaning, particularly deep cleaning, which I enjoyed during my spare time.

 

My interpersonal skills and desire to assist others in achieving their goals motivated me to start a cleaning service in my local community. As demand for my services increased, I quickly found myself with more clients than I could manage. Recognizing the need for additional support, I made the decision to hire staff.

 

Consequently, my business expanded from a single employee providing residential cleaning services five days a week to a team of 16 employees offering both residential and commercial cleaning services seven days a week.

 

I am currently engaged in visiting prospective clients' residences to offer complimentary cleaning estimates for our services. Engaging in discussions about my business and exploring how I can address their cleaning needs has proven to be a rewarding experience. Witnessing the transformation of a client's home following our cleaning services is one of the most gratifying aspects of my work. A primary motivation for starting my business was my passion for helping others.

 

Throughout my journey of owning and managing my business, I have encountered numerous lessons that could only be learned through personal experience rather than formal instruction. Gaining a clear understanding of my goals, recognizing my achievements, and reflecting on my mistakes have all played a pivotal role in shaping my approach to risk-taking within the business."
